My Mother's Day was wonderful. Kevin (and the kids) bought me the new Reebok Easy Tone shoes. The primary kids (ages 3-11) get up in front of the congregation and sing on Mother's Day. Claire refused to go, and when I did finally convince her to go up she wanted me to go with her. So she didn't go up. I was bummed a little because it would have been her first time to go up and sing in church. Oh well. There's always next year. :)
In Primary Claire made me a card and some chocolate covered strawberries. All the kids who went up and sang got a rose to give to their mother's, but since Claire didn't go up she didn't get to give me one. After Primary was over she went up to the Primary president and asked if she could have one for her mommy. :) She's so sweet.
I am truly blessed to have such wonderful kids. It's so hard being a mom, but it is SO worth it. I would never trade it for anything. Thanks Claire and Lindon for being so great and Kev for helping me!
After church some friends came over and brought enchiladas. We ate and had fun talking.

Hannah never goes up and sings...even still. I swear I laugh because Claire and Hannah are the same person in different little bodies!
Which reminds me, next Saturday we are having a little birthday party at Matt and Kari's new place around 2. We don't know any children other than Parker and my cousin's little girl but I definitely wanted to invite you and the kids too. I have never seen Lindon so I really want to see him!
Next Saturday, the 29th? That sounds like fun. What does Hannah like?
We miss y'all in Vidor! Come back!
