I had some bleeding around 16 weeks so I had to go in for an ultrasound to check for placenta previa or whatever else they could find. The tech was SUPER awesome. She took all her measurements, located the placenta. (I have an anterior placenta, and that is why I hadn't felt the baby yet.) Then she tried to check gender for us. The little thing was tucked up tight in a ball in my right hip the ENTIRE TIME!!! She couldn't even get a good profile picture of Junebug. We tried for about 20 minutes to flip me on my sides, push on my stomach but with no luck. I was disappointed thinking we would have to wait 4 more weeks.
HOWEVER, the awesome tech told us she only had two more patients, and we could walk around and try eating something so hopefully Junebug would be more cooperative.
It worked! We were able to get some cute profile pictures and find out the gender. Wouldn't you like to know?! Well, sorry it's not going to happen for a few more weeks. I kind of think 16 weeks is a little too early to be 100% sure on gender. So, we decided to not tell the masses until our 20 week ultrasound. I will show you Junebug's cute profile picture. (Cutest nose EVER!)
